Biographical Information[edit]

Kuo-Chen Lo had a brief career in the CPBL.

Lo was a famous baseball broadcaster of the ELTA, but he quit his job when he was 29-year old to chase his dream - becoming a professional player. After working as a fill-time player for 2 years for the Taipei City amateur baseball team, the Uni-President Lions selected him in the third round of the 2011 CPBL Draft. Lo didn't hit well in the minors, as his batting line was .239/.299/.341 in 2011. He struggled again as he hit .212/.298/.297 with a league-leading 49 strikeouts in 2012, and his batting line was .172/.242/.184 in 2013, The Lions started him as their right fielder in the last game of the 2013 season, and Lo went 0-for-2 against the Lamigo Monkeys. He then announced his retirement, and he returned to ELTA as a broadcaster.
