Biographical Information[edit]

Kramer Sneed has pitched in the minors.

Sneed was All-Conference Carolinas in 2010. The New York Yankees took him in the 32nd round of the 2010 amateur draft, the first player drafted from his college in 15 years.

He split the summer of 2010 between the GCL Yankees (3 H, 3 R, 9 K in 6 2/3 IP:) and Staten Island Yankees (1-3, 4.09, 42 K in 33 IP). In 2011, he was with the Charleston RiverDogs (3-6, 4.18, 68 K, 13 BB in 64 2/3 IP) and Tampa Yankees (2-3, 3.69, 42 K in 39 IP). He was 8th in the Yankees chain in strikeouts. With Tampa for all of 2012, he struggled, going 0-7 with a 5.37 ERA and 40 walks in 63 2/3 innings; his strikeout rate also fell significantly, as he fanned 49. New York then dealt him with Exicardo Cayonez to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for Vernon Wells just before the 2013 season.
