Biographical Information

Kraig Kupiec has been a college coach.

The Houston Astros took Kupiec in the 54th round of the 1991 amateur draft. He opted for college but an injury ended the outfielder's college in 1994. He later ran a batting cage, taught history at Randolph High School and wrote "Hitting Made Simple" (2006). He was hitting coach at UMass Boston from 2008-2010 before getting the head coach job at Newbury College. He won 132 games in eight years then moved to the head job at Massasoit Community College.
