Koshi Muto pitched in the TML for 3 years.
Muto won two ERA titles in the Fukuoka Big 6 Baseball League, and he won the MVP in 1999. The Taichung Agan signed him in 2000, and he went 6-6 with a 2.74 ERA in his first season. He was 13-3 with a 3.31 ERA in 2001, and he went 8-3 with a 2.26 ERA in 2002 (finishing second to teammate Chin-Chih Huang in ERA). Muto also won the TML Championship outstanding player award in 2002 (a step behind MVP Chia-Hsien Hsieh). When the two leagues merged in 2003, Muto left Taiwan and his professional career ended.
Overall, Muto was 27-12 with a 2.84 ERA, struck out 210 and pitched 304 2/3 innings in 3 years in NPB.
