The Klamath Falls Gems played in the West Coast League from 2011, replacing the Moses Lake Pirates. In 2016 they moved to the Golden State Collegiate Baseball League. The team played 2018 in the Great West League, which ceased operations after the season.

The Gems were named after the minor league team that played in the 1940's. During their five year stay in the WCL and two year stay in the GSCBL they never made the playoffs.
