Biographical Information[edit]
Kiyoshi Miyahara was the cleanup hitter, second baseman and captain for Keio University in 1903. He later was the first president of the Japan Amateur Baseball Association and worked to develop international amateur baseball competitions. He was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame shortly after his death, picked in 1964.
