Biographical Information[edit]
The brother of Jim Bullinger, Kirk Bullinger pitched 2 2/3 innings for Team USA in the 2001 Baseball World Cup, hitting a batter but allowing no other runners aboard. He fashioned his big league career around that appearance (1998-2000, 2003-2004), with the bulk of his action coming in 27 games with the 2004 Houston Astros. On August 11, 2004, he recorded his lone big league save in an extra innings affair with the New York Mets. Kirk was an assistant at the University of New Orleans from 2007 to 2009.
