Biographical Information[edit]
Kevin Schnall played in the minors then was a college coach.
He hit .405/.515/.589 in college in 1999, winning the Big South Conference batting title, All-Conference catcher award and MVP. The Cincinnati Reds took him in the 25th round of the 1999 amateur draft, one pick after Mitch Jones. He batted .315/.513/.500 with 20 walks and 22 runs in 18 games that summer for the Billings Mustangs and was 1-for-1 for the 1999 GCL Reds. He was 1-for-4 with a walk for the 2000 Dayton Dragons to end his career with a .322/.512/.492 batting line!
Schnall guided the 2001 Front Royal Cardinals and was assistant coach at his alma mater from 2001-2012. He then was assistant at University of Central Florida from 2013-2015 before another stint at Coastal Carolina from 2016-2023, moving up to head coach for 2024.
