Biographical Information

Outfielder Kevin Romine was signed as a 12th round pick in the 1982 amateur draft by the Boston Red Sox and scout Ray Boone.

Romine had two sons drafted in the 2007 amateur draft. Andrew Romine is a shortstop who was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 5th round and Austin Romine is a catcher drafted by the New York Yankees in the 2nd round. Both of them reached the major leagues.
