Biographical Information[edit]
Kevin Reimer represented Canada in the 1983 Intercontinental Cup, 1983 Pan American Games and at the 1984 Olympics when baseball was a demonstration event. Although he was born in Macon, Georgia while his father, Gerry Reimer, was playing in the minor leagues for the Macon Peaches, Reimer was raised in British Columbia. As a result of his American birth and Canadian parents, Reimer is a dual citizen. Gerry played in the minors from 1958 to 1968.
Kevin was signed as an 11th round pick in the 1985 amateur draft by the Texas Rangers and scout John Young.
