Kevin Brooks has been a college coach.

Brooks was an assistant coach of the University of the Incarnate Word (1994-1998), Texas A&M University (1999), the University of Texas - San Antonio (2000) and Hardin-Simmons University (2000-2003). When Angelo State University restarted its baseball program in 2005, they made Brooks the head coach. He started his career there 281-153. He guided Angelo State to the 2007 NCAA Division II World Series, the quickest a team had made that event.
