Biographical Information[edit]

Kerry Robinson played for five teams in a seven-year major league career. However, he was the property of ten different major league organizations during his career. He had most of his major league at-bats from 2001 to 2003 with the St. Louis Cardinals as a frequently used back-up outfielder. He was last active in 2007, when he played 7 games for the Pawtucket Red Sox; he was released by the Red Sox organization on May 4th that year.

Kerry was the laughing stock of ESPN in 2006 when he climbed the outfield wall to snag a home run ball, having apparently lost the ball in the sun, only to have the ball land several feet in front of the warning track.

He was one of the few major leaguers to wear both 00 (with the Cincinnati Reds in 1999) and 0 (with the Cardinals in 2002-2003).

Robinson had a .312 minor league batting average over 12 seasons and stole 322 bases.

In 2011, Robinson became a pro scout for the Cardinals.
