Kenny Thomas

Kenny Thomas has been a college coach.
Thomas was a NAIA All-American catcher as a college senior. He was a local scout for the New York Yankees in 1980-1981, Cincinnati Reds in 1981-1982 and St. Louis Cardinals from 1982-1995 (part-time from 1989-1995). He was head coach of Volunteer State Community College from 1989?-1999, winning 520 games. He then moved to University of South Carolina Aiken in 2000. Through 2020, he had won six Coach of the Year honors and was 1,258-626 as a head coach. He announced he would retire after the 2021 season.
