Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Kenneth O'Donnell was taken by the Kansas City Royals in the 4th round of the 1968 amateur draft. He played in their system from 1968 to 1972, hitting .219/.330/.264. Perhaps his best campaign was 1968, when the 18-year-old hit .276/.389/.358 with 15 steals and the only two home runs of his career in 67 games for the Corning Royals. He peaked at Double A, playing 222 of his 384 career games at that level. He averaged one home run every 583.5 at-bats.
