Biographical Information[edit]
Kenji Tanba has played in Nippon Pro Baseball and the Japanese national team.
Tanba was on the Japanese national team in the 1989 Intercontinental Cup and 1991 Asian Championship. The Chiba Lotte Marines drafted him in the third round of the 1991 NPB draft. He only had 63 at-bats combined in his five-year career, and announced his retirement after the 1996 season.
Overall, Tanba had hit .143/.156/.254 in 5 seasons in NPB.
