Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Kendry Flores began his professional career in 2009 at age 17. He was signed by the San Francisco Giants in June 4th of that year.

With the DSL Giants his first year, Flores went 7-2 with a 2.18 ERA in 13 starts. He had a 9.2 K/9 IP ratio for the AZL Giants in 2010 and that mark was 8.8 for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in 2011. After a middling season with Salem-Keizer in 2012, he went 10-6 with a 2.73 ERA in 22 starts for the Augusta GreenJackets in 2013, averaging 8.7 whiffs per nine frames. On August 21, he tossed eight innings, allowing only one run and striking out 15 batters. With the San Jose Giants in 2014, Flores went 4-6 with a 4.09 ERA in 20 starts, with 9.2 Ks per nine innings. On December 21, 2014, he was traded with Luis Castillo to the Miami Marlins for Casey McGehee. He began 2015 with the Jacksonville Suns.
