Keng-Wei Lin is the son of two-time Olympian I-Tseng Lin; like his father, he is an outfielder. He played in the 2006 Haarlem Baseball Week (1 for 15, BB, 6 K), 2006 World University Championship and 2008 World University Championship. He hit .269/.321/.423 in the 2008 Haarlem Baseball Week, leading the event with four doubles and tying Giorvis Duvergel for third with 11 hits.
In the 2009 World Port Tournament, Lin hit .381/.409/.524 and tied for fifth with three doubles. He will be with Taiwan for the 2009 Asian Championship.
