Biographical information

Keisuke Ueno was a minor league baseball pitcher. He was originally a shortstop, however he was converted to pitching when he came to the United States to play baseball.

He began his professional career in 2005 with the Japan Samurai Bears, making 18 appearances (14 starts) and going 1-6 with a 6.75 ERA. He also played two games at shortstop that year. Despite having a poor season, scout Kip Fagg saw enough potential in him to sign him to a contract. In 2006, he played for the AZL Rangers, making 13 relief appearances and going 1-3 with a 4.95 ERA. He played for the Spokane Indians in 2007, going 0-2 with a 3.79 ERA in 21 relief appearances. For the Clinton Lumber Kings in 2008, he went 4-3 with a 3.33 ERA in 23 games (one start).

Overall, he was 6-14 with a 5.08 ERA in 75 games (15 starts). He later played for the Yakult Swallows ni-gun team in 2011 and 2012, posting a 5.03 ERA in 12 appearances.
