Biographical Information[edit]
Karl Adams pitched 30 games with the Chicago Cubs between 1914 and 1915, going 1-9, 5.01. As an Indianapolis Indians pitcher in 1914, Adams had a fine season, compiling a record of 13-8. His Wikipedia entry (as of 2020) states that, after baseball, he was a golf pro and a member of a plumbers and pipefitters union. Additionally, he was a World War I veteran.
