Biographical Information[edit]
Kaoru Takahashi pitched for the Japanese national team.
Takahashi represented Japan in the 1999 Asian Championship. He relieved Hideo Koike in Gold Medal Game against South Korea, but he allowed 3 runs in a inning and got the lose. The Chiba Lotte Marines drafted him in the first round of the 1999 NPB draft. However, he suffered a severe injury and was unable to pitch with the big club. He announced his retirement after the 2003 season.
