Biographical Information[edit]
Kang-suk Kim played in the Korea Baseball Organization for 2 years.
Kim represented South Korea in the 2006 Intercontinental Cup. Backing up Jin-young Park at second base, he was 1-for-5 with a walk and two runs, handling five chances error-free. The Hanwha Eagles selected him in the 6th round of the 2009 KBO draft, and he was 1-for-5 in 2009. He went 0-for-2 in 2010, and he spent the next two seasons due to military service. Kim spent his 2013 season in the minors, then he was traded with Dae-soo Lee to the SK Wyverns for In-sung Cho. Kim didn't play a single game for the big club of the Wyverns, and he was released after the 2015 season. He later coached Wooshin High School from 2019 to 2023.
