Biographical Information[edit]
Dae-soo Lee is the shortstop for the Doosan Bears. He is noted primarily for his defensive work.
Lee debuted with the SK Wyverns in 2002, playing 3 games and not getting to bat. In 2003, he was 0 for 1 in 10 games. In 2004, the 22-year-old hit a meek .165/.218/.184 in 105 games, primarily as a defensive substitute. The next year, Lee batted .203/.288/.288 in a similar role.
Dae-soo became a starter in 2006 and responded by improving to a .253/.307/.351. Lee was traded to the Doosan Bears in 2007 and hit .252/.324/.332. In the 2007 Korean Series, he played a big role in Doosan's game 2 win over his former team but SK won the next four contests; Lee's 3 errors in one inning in game 3 were not helpful.
Lee batted .282/.345/.380 in 2008.
