Biographical Information[edit]

Kameron Mickolio went to high school in Montana where there is no high school baseball. He focused on basketball until playing American Legion ball the summer before his senior season.

Mickolio was signed by the Seattle Mariners and scout Phil Geisler as the 18th round pick in the 2006 amateur draft. He was one of five players sent to the Baltimore Orioles by the Mariners in February 2008 in return for left-handed pitcher Erik Bedard. Mickolio made his Major League debut as a reliever for the Orioles in late August of 2008.

Signing with the Hiroshima Toyo Carp for 2012, he debuted on April 1, relieving Yusuke Nomura in the 7th inning. Entering with a 1-0 deficit against the Chunichi Dragons, he allowed 2 hits, a walk and a run in 2/3 of an inning before giving way to Takayuki Oshima.
