KING 5
KING 5 was the first television home of the Seattle Mariners. KING handled M's broadcasts from its inception in 1977 until 1980 when KSTWashington took over.
KING 5 originally had the call letters KRSC (1948-1949). It was a CBS affiliate from 1948-1953, an ABC affiliate from 1953-1959, and has been Seattle's NBC affiliate since 1959.
