Biographical Information[edit]

Justin Staatz has played ball in the USA, Japan and in France.

He was signed as a free agent by the Minnesota Twins in 2006. He played Rookie League ball for the Twins organization, going 2-0 with a 3.09 ERA for the GCL Twins and 2-0 with a 4.15 ERA for the Elizabethton Twins. Overall, he struck out 37 in 33 1/3 IP.

He then moved on to the Washington Wild Things (0-3, Sv, 5.59, 18 BB in 19 1/3) and the Gateway Grizzlies (1-2, Sv, 2.73, 26 BB, 29 K in 26 1/3 IP) in the Frontier League in 2007. In 2008, he played for Laredo (11 R, 17 BB, 19 K in 13 2/3 IP) and the Harlingen White Wings (0-1, 5.85, 19 BB, 26 K in 20 IP) in the United League. From there he moved to Japan, playing for Niigata Alberix of the BCL, the Baseball Challenge League.

He joined the Rouen Huskies in Division Elite in 2010.
