Biographical information[edit]

Justin Albertson is a former minor league baseball outfielder who played in the St. Louis Cardinals system from 1999 to 2000.

He played for the Johnson City Cardinals in 1999, hitting .234/~.324/.375 in 128 at-bats. While he hit 5 home runs, drove 16 runs in and stole 11 bases (in 13 attempts), he also struck out 60 times - nearly once every two at-bats.

In 2000, he was again with the Johnson City Cardinals. He played in only 33 games, collecting 21 hits in 94 at-bats for a .223 batting average. He had a .333 OBP and .351 slugging percentage. He hit 2 home runs, drove 13 runs in and stole 13 bases, while striking out 37 times. He was not caught stealing once.

Overall, he hit .230 in 74 career minor league games, with 7 home runs and 29 RBI. He stole 24 bases in 26 attempts. In 222 at-bats, he struck out 97 times.
