Biographical Information

Junya Orita pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball and for the Japanese national team.

Orita represented Japan in the 1993 Asian Championship. The Yomiuri Giants drafted him in the second round of the 1994 NPB draft. Orita only pitched 16 games with a 4.57 ERA in 1995, and spent the next four seasons in the NPB Farm Leagues. He announced his retirement after the 1999 season.
