Biographical Information

Julio De Paula was signed by scout Johnny Sierra for the Cleveland Indians in 1999. He made his pro debut the next summer for the DSL Twins/Indians. He then pitched for the DSL Indians in 2001 before coming stateside in 2002.

Signing with the Hanwha Eagles for 2010, De Paula debuted on March 28th with one shutout inning of relief.

He is the brother of Jorge De Paula.
