Biographical Information[edit]
Julian Sanders has played for the Great Britain national team.
He hit .331/.416/.500 with 43 RBI in 36 games as a college freshman and .398/.452/.795 as a sophomore with 18 doubles, 14 homers, 41 runs and 59 RBI in 39 contests. He set the school record for dingers. [1] In the 2023 European Championship, he debuted for Great Britain as the first baseman and #6 hitter against Sweden. He was hit by a Ben Johnson pitch his first time up and later singled off Oskar Syrén. He was 3 for 7 with two walks, a double, 4 runs and 2 RBI in 3 games, handling 15 chances error-free, but was injured on a slide into home in an upset win over Italy. Jackson Pritchard took over. Britain would go on to a Silver Medal, tying their best finish. [2]
