Biographical Information[edit]
Wei-Hao Chen played in the CPBL. His brother is minor league pitcher Yu-Min Lin.
Chen represented Taiwan in the 2017 U-18 Baseball World Cup, pitching 7 2/3 shutout innings and beating South Africa and Brandon Smith.
He went undrafted in the 2021 CPBL Draft, The CTBC Brothers signed him, and he had a 4.08 ERA in 14 games in 2022. The Brothers then released him, and he signed with the TSG Hawks. Chen’s ERA was 2.08 in 31 appearances with 10 saves in 2023, and he debuted against the Uni-President Lions on April 30, 2024.
Chen's repertoire includes a fastball (peak 93.2 mph), curveball, changeup and slider.
