Juan Antonio Pérez Escribano (Bolo)

Juan Pérez played for the Spanish national team in the 1971 European Championship (as a catcher) and 1973 European Championship (as an outfielder), helping his team win Bronze in 1971. He was a long-time player for CB Iturrigorri. He coached for Spain in the 1988 Baseball World Cup (Spain's first Baseball World Cup), 1991 Intercontinental Cup (their first Intercontinental Cup) and 1992 Olympics (their first Olympics in baseball). In 2016, he was inducted into Spain's Baseball Hall of Fame.
