Biographical Information

J.C. Gutierrez was signed by scouts Andres Reiner, Pablo Torrealba, and Rafael Lara in December 2000. He spent 2001-2002 with with Venoco (VSL) and 2003-2004 with the Greeneville Astros. He thus had to be placed on the 40 man roster in the 2004-2005 off-season before appearing in a full season league or risk being drafted in the Rule V Draft.
