Juan Dieguez is the brother of Luis Dieguez. Juan played in the 2003 Pan American Games. was 1 for 6 in the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games, then was 5 for 18 as a 3B/LF in the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup. He remained with Guatemala for the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games. He was 1 for 10 with a hit-by-pitch as Guatemala's main DH in the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games; he was nearly the team's oldest player, nine days younger than Jorge Rehwoldt.
