Biographical Information

Catcher Juan Abad played in the minor leagues from 1998 to 2001. He spent 1998 and 1999 in the Dominican Summer League before moving stateside, joining the GCL Expos in 2000. In 101 at-bats, he slashed .149/.189/.158. He no hits in 4 at-bats for the independent Fort Worth Cats of the All-American Association in 2001 to wrap up his professional career.
