Jourick Blanco was 1 for 12 with a double in the 2003 Venezuelan Summer League. In 2004, he hit .223 and led his club, Venoco, with 31 RBI. In 2005, Blanco batted .271/.361/.427 and was second in the VSL with 39 RBI. He tied for third in the loop with 7 homers. During 2006, Jourick hit .262/.339/.407.
Blanco moved to the Hoofdklasse with the 2007 Konica Minolta Pioniers and hit .250/.364/.440 but fielded under .900 at both second base and third base. He was 1 for 11 in the playoffs but improved to 4-for-14 with a double, a home run and 3 RBI in the 2007 Holland Series, which the Pioniers lost. His homer, off Patrick Beljaards, put the Pioniers ahead in game two but the club fell in 13 innings.
Blanco batted .278/.376/.511 for the Pioniers in 2008 with 29 runs, 11 doubles, 6 home runs, 20 walks and 35 RBI in 36 games. He fielded .962 at third base. He was 4th in the 2008 Hoofdklasse in slugging (behind Sidney de Jong, Eugène Kingsale and Bas de Jong), tied for the home run lead (with Sidney de Jong), was second in RBI (behind Bas de Jong), tied for 5th in doubles and was 8th in total bases.
