Biographical Information

Catcher Josh Goldfield was taken by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 41st round of the 1999 amateur draft. He remained in their system through 2001, played in the independent ranks in 2002 and 2003 and briefly joined the Cleveland Indians organization for 2004. In 114 career games, he hit .220/.294/.274 with two home runs and 40 RBI.
