Biographical Information

Josh Fogg was traded by the Chicago White Sox with pitchers Sean Lowe and Kip Wells to the Pittsburgh Pirates for minor league catcher Lee Evans and pitcher Todd Ritchie on December 13, 2001. The Pirates got the better end of the deal: they netted 79 wins (39 from Fogg) and 1,505 1/3 innings between the pitchers they acquired. For the White Sox, Ritchie went 5-15 with a 6.06 ERA in one season and Evans never reached the majors.
