Biographical information

Catcher Jose Reyes, not to be confused with the more popular Jose Reyes who played shortstop at the same time, appeared in four games for the Chicago Cubs in 2006. In five at-bats, he struck out three times - though he did collect one hit, victimizing Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Derrick Turnbow for a two-RBI single. He last played in affiliated ball for the Binghamton Mets in 2007.
