Biographical Information

Jose Mejia signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1993. He hit .263/.337/.393 and fielded .970 as a C-1B for the 1994 DSL Dodgers I. He batted .238 for the '95 DSL Braves and .241 for the 1996 DSL Braves. From 2000-2006, he was a coach for the DSL Dodgers. He moved to the DSL Royals in 2007 as a manager. He was 39-29 his first year, then 35-33 and 26-41 the next two. After six years there, Mejia became manager of the DSL Indians in 2013.
