José Luis García (Cuba)
José Luis García hit .395 for the Cuban national team that won Gold in the 1935 Central American and Caribbean Games and he led the event in runs (13), steals (6) and homers (5, tied with Herbie Carter). In the 1944 Amateur World Series, he batted .294 for Cuba. He hit .207 when Cuba won Bronze in the 1946 Central American and Caribbean Games.
