José Agustín Capellán (Buda)
Biographical Information[edit]
Buda Capellán played for the Dominican national team when they won the Bronze in the 1954 Central American and Caribbean Games and Gold in the 1955 Pan American Games. A third baseman-outfielder, he hit .265 in the latter event. He later played professionally for the Águilas Cibaeñas and Tigres del Licey, hitting .222 and was 0-2 on the mound with a 6.35 ERA.
