Joris Navarro pitched for France in the 2008 European Under-21 Championship, going 1-0 with a 6.75 ERA despite 10 walks in 6 2/3 innings; he beat Belgium. In 2009, he was 2-5 with a save and a 6.46 ERA in his Division Elite debut, pitching for Stade Toulouse. He fanned 47 in 46 innings but walked 39 and hit 18, second-most in the league. He tied for sixth in losses.

In 2010, Navarro moved to the Montpellier Barracudas. He was on France's preliminary roster for the 2010 European Championship.
