Biographical Information

Jorge Chávez played for the Ecuadorian national team in the 2024 South American Championship. He was their main left fielder. In his first plate appearance, against Chile's Sebastián Vega, he hit into a run-scoring double play. He finished the event 1-for-7, his hit coming off Vega, with two walks and a steal. In the field, he had five putouts.
