Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Jordan Paroubeck was a 2nd-round selection by the San Diego Padres in the 2013 amateur draft, out of a high school in California. He only made his professional debut the following season, with the AZL Padres of the Arizona League. In 34 games, he hit .286/.346/.457 with 8 doubles, 4 homers, 26 runs scored and 24 RBIs. However, he did not stay long in the Padres organization as on April 5, 2015, he was one of two top prospects who went the Atlanta Braves in a blockbuster trade. Along with P Matt Wisler and major league OFs Cameron Maybin and Carlos Quentin, Paroubeck went to Atlanta in return for All-Star closer Craig Kimbrel and OF Melvin Upton; the Padres also sent a compensation round pick in the 2015 amateur draft to the Braves in the deal.
