Biographical Information[edit]

Jong-ho Kim pitched in the CPBL and KBO.

Kim was drafted by the Haitai Tigers in the first round of the 1995 KBO draft, but he spent his first two seasons in the minors. He had a 5.73 ERA in 21 relief outings in 1997, then he went to the LG Twins. Kim still struggled after changing teams, and he had a 6.66 ERA in 14 games in 1998. He pitched 28 games with a 7.67 ERA in 1999, and he only pitched 2 more games with the big club until the Twins released him in 2002. Kim then signed with the First Financial Holdings Agan in 2003, and he went 0-3 with a 4.91 ERA there. He announced his retirement after the 2003 season.

Overall, Kim was 2-1 with a 6.88 ERA, pitched 119 innings and struck out 66 in 4 seasons in the KBO.
