Biographical Information

Jonathan Armold has pitched and coached in the minors.

The Milwaukee Brewers took Armold in the 30th round of the 2012 amateur draft. The scout was Tim McIlvaine. He split the summer between the Helena Brewers (0 R in 3 1/3 IP) and AZL Brewers (0-2, 3.64, 32 K in 29 2/3 IP). He was 4-3 with 3 saves and a 3.89 ERA in 26 games for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in 2013, fanning 41 in 39 1/3 IP. He finished his pro career at 4-5, 3 Sv, 3.61 in 41 games, striking out 76 and allowing 35 walks and 75 hits in 72 1/3 IP.

He was pitching coach for the University of Texas at Dallas in 2014-2015 then was pitching coach for the AZL Rangers in 2016-2017 and Spokane Indians in 2018.
