Jonas Degerstedt

Jonas Degerstedt played one inning at third base for the Swedish national team in the 1994 Baseball World Cup, backing up Kent Sterner and Ove Johansson; he did not bat nor handle a chance in the field. [1] He was 2 for 8 with a run and a RBI for the Swedish national team in the 1995 European Championship. He had 13 chances error-free, backing up Rickard Reimer at short. [2] He was finals MVP of the Elitserien in 1999, helping the Skellefteå Basebollklubb win the title. [3] In the 1999 European Championship, he was 0 for 5 with two walks and handled three chances without an error, backing up Reimer at short. [4]
