Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Jon Leroux began his professional career in 2012.

He was taken by the New York Mets in the 32rd round of the 2012 amateur draft. With the Kingsport Mets that year, he hit .198/.291/.379 with four home runs and 13 RBI in 40 games. In 41 games with the club in 2013, he hit .286/.370/.549 with six home runs, 15 doubles and 32 RBI to lead the Appalachian League in slugging percentage. He regressed to .227/.299/.443 with four home runs and 10 RBI in 28 games for the Savannah Sand Gnats in 2014 and began 2015 back with Savannah.
