Biographical Information

Pitcher Jon Harris was drafted 29th overall in the 2015 amateur draft by the Toronto Blue Jays (he had been drafted by the club in the 33rd round in 2012, as well). He was 0-5 with a 6.75 ERA in his first professional foray in 2015, but was still ranked the big club's #6 prospect going into 2016 by Baseball America. He responded by going 11-4 with a 2.71 ERA in 24 starts between two clubs in 2016, earning a Mid-Season All-Star selection and a MiLB.com Organization All-Star spot. He was ranked the club's #9 prospect going into 2017.
