Jonathan David Bible

Biographical Information[edit]
Jon Bible has been an umpire in the 1979 College World Series, 1980 College World Series, 1983 College World Series, 1984 College World Series, 1987 Pan American Games and 1988 College World Series. He was the NCAA National Umpire Coordinator from 1990-1996. He worked the 1984 ALCS when the regular MLB umpires were on strike. He also worked in the NFL as a referee. Away from sports, he has been a law professor as Texas State University. In 2019, he was inducted into the College Baseball Hall of Fame.
